The Monegasque language is called Monegù or Munegu in its own language, with both spellings being used.

"Monegù" is the traditional name for the language of the Principality of Monaco, while "Munegu" is the name for the country itself in the local language and also appears in the name for the language, as seen in forms like Munegu (Monaco in Monégasque) and munegascu (Monégasque language).
